 Manages and administers medication according to physician’s order; monitors and records individual reaction to medication
 Applies crisis intervention strategies calmly and effectively and is able to respond quickly to situations
 Participates in the development and implementation of individually directed plans and goals
 Supports individuals to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of people
 Facilitates family and community relationship building
 Develops self awareness and maintains professionalism at all times
 Diploma in Social Services (DSW, SSW, CYW) or University Degree in Social Sciences. Related experience preferred.
 Demonstrated ability to facilitate Person Centered Planning
 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with families
 Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Autism / Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health disorders.
 Demonstrated understanding and training in supporting individuals with ASD
 Demonstrated commitment in implementing communication strategies
 Commitment in involving people to become more involved in their communities-
Experience and understanding of community living
 Some positions are requiring experience working with children
 Behaviour Management Certification. CPI / SMG
 First Aid/CPR Certification
 Current Vulnerable Persons Report
