Quality Assurance Inspections, such as plan review(s)/ redesign
Supply design updates and take part in the assignment of work to optimize skills sets and ensure timely project deadlines
Data management for designs and inspections and approvals in virtual/hard copy file format(s) to ensure compliance with the PPMP, APEGBC, and APEGA for the organization
Client and 3rd Party Liaison Activities
Engaging and supporting client communication
Determine the scope of various projects as assigned
Providing status updates to internal and external resources
Confronting client issues as required within the scope of the project and with 3rd Party resources
E.I.T. and Field Technician Supervision/ Oversight
Communicate with BASE colleagues ensuring projects and all field resources (internal and external) are aligned
Prepare drawing sets for permitting and construction
Issue technical support for Field Level Supervisors
Supervise data processing as required, and review completed field work to ensure the quality and scope of the work meets and/or exceeds professional standards
Support ongoing process improvement for BASE field standards and procedures, providing regular feedback to the Quality Control system(s) to ensure the best standards and results
Requirements
One or more Mechanical Engineering Degree(s) and/or Equivalencies
5 years or more of relevant project oversight experience supervising Mechanical Engineering projects and managing clients
Complete working knowledge of the building codes and standards for construction of HVAC systems and plumbing design(s)
Working knowledge of CAD drawing requirements and acceptable accuracy/tolerance levels
Advanced knowledge and application of Division specific industry related legislation and regulations
Preferential Consideration will be given to those with a PMP designation
