Our amazing client is looking to hire a Human Resources (HR) Administrator to join their team in their BRAND-NEW Downtown offices in Calgary.

The Human Resources (HR) Administrator is responsible for reviewing and editing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, administering and maintaining company benefits, and assisting the Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Departments with various administrative duties.

This is a dynamic team in a busy and energetic environment. The perfect candidate is someone who thrives in a fast paced, professional office, while also enjoying a collaborative upbeat team atmosphere.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

The key job functions are:

  • Writing job ads, posting them internally and on external websites
  • Administering the Careers inbox and distributing received applications to the appropriate manager
  • Maintaining and updating job descriptions for Canada, USA, and Albania
  • Creating new hire packages to be shipped to USA and Canadian locations
  • Creating new employee files and checking for completeness
  • Creating and updating monthly reports
  • Writing employment verification, hire and offer letters
  • Updating and maintaining vacation and sick day tracking reports
  • Maintaining and updating employees in the Company Benefit Program
  • Reconciling monthly benefit invoices and entering changes
  • Maintaining and updating Leased Vehicle and Insured Drivers lists, updating Insurance company of changes
  • Updating tracking sheets and following up as required
  • Updating Employee Handbook and Health & Safety Handbook with new and updated policies
  • Updating and creating internal forms as required
  • Filing and other general office duties


Education:

High School Diploma is required


Qualifications: 

1 year of HR / Payroll experience is an asset


Experience:

  • 2+ years of office administration is required
  • Payroll exposure is an asset
  • Intermediate+ level of MS Office is required
  • Tech savvy with databases

Base Salary: $5500 per month

  • Benefits package included
  • Free downtown parking


Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm


Remote Work:

This position is not remote and required to be on-site.


Additional Notes:

This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
