Our client is looking for The Amazing to do the amazing! This telecommunications company is operating within Alberta and poised to take the industry by storm.

They are currently looking for a Foreman / Tower Rigger to come in and hit the ground running. This intense role will require experience managing a crew, handling all client communications, navigating, troubleshooting onsite discrepancies, and generally being a boss of all things, while doing so in a n empowering, diplomatic and inspiring manner.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The key job functions are:

  • Leading, coaching, and training junior staff on Telecommunications infrastructure construction including rooftops, monopoles, self-support, and guyed towers
  • Reading and understanding construction drawings with high level of attention to detail
  • Installing carrier grade equipment adhering to all documented methods of procedure
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and working knowledge of standard industry safety procedures
  • Following all documented policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees
  • Troubleshooting onsite inconsistencies
  • Communicating complex challenges with clarity to staff and clients
  • Willing and able to travel within Canada


  • Vaccine mandate in effect
  • Must hold valid class 5 driver’s license


  • 5+ years of telecommunications industry experience both technical and rigging
  • In-building DAS and structured cabling experience
  • Solid background of construction and working with various types of power tools
  • Proficient with common telecommunications test equipment (RF sweep gear, OTDR, multi-meter)
  • Understanding of RF connector termination with various types of cables and connectors

Base Salary: $40 – 45 per hour

Work Hours:

40 hours per work plus OT

Remote Work:

This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
