Our lovely client (in the insurance industry – Home, Auto, and Life insurance) is looking to fill a versatile, hybrid role of Client Contact Representative / Office Administrator in their laid-back, easy going, tight knit office. Duties and Responsibilities: 

The main focus of the Client Contact Representative is assisting in the coordination and implementation of the agency contact program through outbound calling to schedule and confirm appointments for the agent and agency staff. This role supports the agency philosophy of proactive client contact and works with the team to achieve profitable growth through dedicated outbound activity.

This position will also include taking the lead in all office administrative tasks and providing support where needed in the interest of keeping a streamlined, and efficient workflow. Ideally this person will be licensed, as included in the duties will be providing coverage for current agents as required. (Acceptable is a candidate willing to do certification immediately upon hire or is currently in the process.)

The key job functions are:

  • Completing outbound calls to obtain insurance expiry dates, schedule annual reviews, set and confirm appointments
  • Obtaining, verifying, and documenting client information as required
  • Tracking call activity including calls dialed, contacts made, and appointments booked
  • Greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate agency staff
  • Acting as primary telephone contact by receiving, redirecting callers, and managing voicemail
  • Monitoring incoming email and daily work lists and distributing appropriately
  • Proactively contacting clients for numerous follow-up activities
  • Accepting, processing, and depositing all payments
  • Providing a full range of administrative support services including filing, faxing, photocopying, incoming / outgoing mail, outgoing courier service, ordering / purchasing supplies, and other support as required
  • Achieving sales, service, and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products
  • Advising and recommending coverages and policies that best meet client needs


Education:

General Insurance License – can be in the process of getting it or eager to get it right away


Qualifications: 

  • Clean criminal record and credit check
  • Valid vaccine passport


Experience:

  • Tech savvy – knowledge of MS Office (must) and Salesforce (asset)
  • Administrative experience is required
  • Insurance experience is an asset

Base Salary: $45,000 – 50,000 per year

  • Full benefits package included
  • 3 weeks of vacation


Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm


Remote Work:

This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
